iFilm TV Channel, Bangla TV strengthen cinematic ties

Morteza Shamsi, along with his team from iFilm TV Channel, has visited the managing board of Bangla TV.

In a move to bolster cinematic and cultural collaborations, iFilm’s CEO Morteza Shamsi, along with his team, has visited the managing board of Bangla TV as part of a series of meetings with prominent Bangladeshi TV networks.

The purpose of these interactions is to to foster understanding and pave the way for joint projects that will contribute to the cultural enrichment of both nations.

Established on September 16, 1999, by Feroze Khan, Bangla TV holds the distinction of being the first Bengali language television channel launched in the United Kingdom. 

During their visit, Shamsi, the channel’s chief, and his team engaged in fruitful discussions, laying the groundwork for potential collaborations in both the cinematic and television spheres.  

In addition to their extensive networking and collaborative efforts, the iFilm team is actively participating in the 22nd edition of the Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) in Bangladesh.

This multifaceted engagement reflects iFilm's commitment to promoting cultural exchange and advancing the global appreciation of cinema.
